If I could un-invent something, what would it be…? That’s a tough choice. Humans have invented so many things that were intended- or invented-to benefit humanity…and then, used for nefarious purposes. Cockcroft and Walton didn’t, likely intend to bring forth a nuclear bomb, but…

And, though the technology we use today, for cell phones, Internet, computers, cars, etc…are beneficial, it also opened the doors for all the darkness and debotchary  that saturates it today.

I think, if I had to choose what to un-invent, it would be…written/spoken language . It separated humanity, from the collective consciousness that guided us and kept us honest and fair. It allowed for deception and suppression of others. It took communication, from a connection to The Tribe of Humanity…to the separation, and controlled mistrust of others. It created the “Otherism” that doomed our species. It allowed for the rise of the “One”(kings, queens, etc ..), and the enslavery of masses. Intended to keep secrets and enrich those with that secret, punishment was swift & fierce when the lower classes were caught learning to read and write; from the beginning…even members of a tribe, caught replicating these secret symbols and markings, would be shunned and forced out of the tribe and into isolation. So as with most every invention of this  human species, it too was looked at with the question of how to use it, for control and combat. It too, has become a weapon…capable of mass destruction.

Though I have a sort of “obsession” with the spoken/written word… I also hate the limitations and manipulations it is infested with. I long for the days, when humans communicated an idea as a whole, complete, specific thought…free of the misunderstandings and miscommunications that keep pushing us all, further apart; and empowering, ever more, the Ones at the top.
